Shoe – good; insecticides – bad.

Ouch
I’d never dream of killing an insect outside, since it’s obviously their natural habitat. But when I see spiders or camel crickets or stink bugs inside my house, I’m sorry to say that I have very little tolerance = thwap with a shoe, and they’re toast.
Shoe – good; insecticides – bad.
Check out the results of research by the National Institutes of Health in October, 2009: women who used insecticides (the sprays you use to kill bugs, not the repellents you apply to your skin) either six or more times per year, or over a span of 20 years, nearly doubled their risk of developing two autoimmune diseases – rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.
So don’t reach for that can of ‘Raid!’ – grab a shoe, or a tiss-shoe (sorry, but this is my blog ;), and REALLY keep your home clean and safe.
